I think you guys are a real contender in the competition. I liked how you answered the mission question while still introducing new interesting facts about it. I like how you gave us some insight into the characters on a more personal level like the zoning out. I think that is a great idea and love the visuals that go along with it.

Optional images

GILROY

GILROY

What he lacks in brains, Gilroy makes up for in heart. He's a bundle of energy, and always finds the best in situations. His innocence and naïveté will be reflected through the graphics associated with some of his scenes. When shown things from his perspective, viewers will experience the colorful imagery, imagination and delusions in Robby Gilroy's childlike brain.

TRUMAN

TRUMAN

Although Truman has a very short fuse, he can rarely react to situations the way he REALLY wants to without getting fired. Luckily for the audience, when seeing things from Truman's perspective, they'll be able to see his wild, often violent fantasies come to life before their eyes... until the scenes snap back to reality, of course.

FOX

FOX

Fox is a weird character who doesn't do very well in social situations (a fact he's unaware of.) He often zones out, focusing in on small, unimportant details instead of the "big picture" of what's happening in front of him. His visual style will bring the audience into his bizarre mind, showing them where his focus REALLY lies, and how that affects his decision-making.

This is so well done. I like that you laid out exactly how your show will be different and unique. The idea of adding visual effects and the Edgar Wright inspiration will definitely breathe new life into the "slacker sitcom" genre. At first, Campus Law made me think of Workaholics, Broad City or The League but this shows you have something completely fresh in mind. Can't wait to see more!

Amazing! Edgar Wright is one of my favourite directors and I think that drawing inspiration from him is a recipe for success! The fact that you guys decided to use zooms and sounds to carry your jokes/punchlines sets you apart from the rest and really shows the production value of your works. Its clear that you guys have experience in making videos and incorporating graphics and sounds and it is really fun to see. This is gearing up to be a great project and from what I have seen so far, and especially accented with this video, I can't wait to see more and really hope to see this as full fledged tv series!

Uh, guys. You're funny. You have developed strong characters and I like your idea of adding in visual elements to create a more unique viewing experience. Thanks! Glad you liked it, and great question! The stories definitely will not all revolve around drinking and partying. There's going to be a constant struggle going on for these characters based on their conflicting desires - they want to be accepted by the students, they want their authority to be respected, and they also want to have a good time while working. That will come into play in a lot of different ways and a lot of situations, including the day-to-day mundane B.S!
    Thanks for the comment!

I think you guys are a real contender in the competition. I liked how you answered the mission question while still introducing new interesting facts about it. I like how you gave us some insight into the characters on a more personal level like the zoning out. I think that is a great idea and love the visuals that go along with it.

So far, your videos have nailed each mission and I really starting to get a feel for what this show could be. I'd love to know more about the minor characters that will surround the security guards: their boss? The Dean? Specific students?

yo this is one of the best ones in my imo. its got a good concept and production values. Reminds me Super Troopers which is great, plus you could get into college storylines. A lot of potential on this

Edgar Wright is a good starting point to draw inspiration from. This concept reminds me a bit of Brooklyn Nine-Nine, but in a context where this kind of humor and tone make sense. Keep up the good work.

I like the style and the performers have good charisma! I still don't really feel like I have a fell for your joke style though.

The premise isn't super original, but our show is based on roommates so who am I to talk? The execution sets it apart, great, informative video guys. Props on the visuals!

I love your style, and you said the magic words to my ears. I'd watch a series of quick shots of paint drying if it was inspired by Edgar Wright. Can't wait to see what comes next!

well done on the special effects. You guys are also very engaging but it doesn't seem like the most original idea. All of the things that you say make your show different I have seen before.

Snap. Well done. You guys totally sold me. What a pitch. Especially liked the the quadruple takes the two on the left did while the plugs were happening at the end of the video. Totally missed all the plug and promo details, but made me laugh.

The thing I like least from you guys is the premise of the show, but I'm convinced you can make paint drying look like Shawn of the Dead. Check out WildCard threat The Eligible Bachelors!

That's pretty good, guys. You actually followed what the mission asked you to do this week, which is something a lot of the other projects failed to do. I look forward to seeing what's next from this concept. See you next week.
