Thank you for the words of encouragement. We never made the top 110 but we are going through with the missions and plan on using this experience to launch the brand.

Interesting premise, but feels more like the dark side of a Showcase program than comedy for CBC. Maybe play out more slapstick comedy and see how it forms.

There is plenty of slapstick in the scripting. Like a revamped Get Smart.

Congratulations on making it to the top 55. I like this idea and I think it would be a great TV series! Best of luck no matter what!

I agree that this feels more like a movie, would like to see that movie though, love Italian culture and am learning more and more these days. Good luck with trying to get into the top 15.

I really like the idea of this being a movie! Who doesn't love a good mob movie? Right? I'm not feeling connected to this as a tv series but wish you all the best! Congrats on making Top 55!

Thanks! I wrote it as a webisode of possible 4 episodes aka 4 short films. Didn't get into top 55. Wildcard hopeful.

You got a really good premise here, maybe this might work better as a movie? I can see a really funny movie out of this.

I am a short film director and decided to try out for a series. Loving the experience and have about 6-9 episodes for this already in the synopsis phase.

Interesting premise. Not really seeing the funny though. Maube its just not my thing. We all cry for the same reason, we all laugh for different ones.

I think the premise is fun and that there's real potential for comedy. However, you need to be careful and make sure that your jokes reach all audiences and not just those of Italian descent. Not everyone is going to get the minchia reference. Good luck.

There will be more stereotypes, profiling and political incorrectness once the black gang comes into the picture.

Okay. I didn't quite grasp how everything fit together until I read that great tagline, "Acting is a disorganized crime," on the sell sheet. Now I see how being the new don out of the blue is an acting opportunity of a lifetime. I also enjoyed getting a sense for your personalities in the video.

Not sure how clear your concept is. The video wasn't exciting enough to be a "hype" video. Good job on the sell sheet.

Video too talky; no momentum. Concept sounds cool but your video lacks the steam the idea deserves

Now have a better idea on your concept but still i found your video dull or boring, need some funny, it is Comedy Coup. Your sell sheet looks ok .

I’ve been called a Wise Guy in the past, but let me assure you, it was entirely intentional! I hope that you can really capture everything you need to make this show a success!

Sorry, I can’t get into the material. I am not commenting negatively on your work, it is just not my kind of humour I guess.
