Ok, I guess that you have been in a music store before. I still think that you don't have to go very far away from the characters that you'd find in a a music store to produce a comedy that engaged an audience. From the greenhorn, to the high functioning autistic gear head, to the frustrated shoulda been to the older guy who is only waiting for the day when he can retire and leave this bullshit behind...

While nobody could possibly argue that this is certainly a creative approach to the challenge, I think the nature of the rap has the unfortunate side effect of highlighting the worst elements of your characters. Specifically, this show -- which originally looked like it could be a lot of fun -- now looks like it's aggressively unrelatable.

The song is good, but the show seems like a generic Cheers just takes place in a music store. I think it can be good like It's always sunny in Philadelphia, but the characters seem too similar to them. Good Luck though.

While I like that you guys went the extra mile to write a song and essentially frame this week's challenge as a music video, all of the hype you're bringing up doesn't really hype the show. It more hypes the other projects that you've done, and that makes the show concept of "Blackwater Music" less compelling. However, your videos are great, tons of production value, and if you guys did win, you'd be able to pull off something great.

Lots of bravo. Lots of followers. Obviously you guys have got something going on. You are ambitious and are putting so much into each week. The joke may be short lived though.

I watched this simply because of the high number of likes it has gotten so I had some high expectations when I came into it. Sorry to say I was highly disappointed instead. I found the video braggy and the concept dumb.

This video was funny even though it was almost too braggy. But it did seem like a youtube video sketch or something. I think you guys are definitely funny but I just don't want to watch a workaholics slacker comedy about music? guys... honestly, rock is dead as is nietzche and god all at once, i don't think i'd like to see another one of these shows on TV. sure you can rack up fans, but your originality falls into an ocean of similar projects. it would stand great on its own. there's a certain arrogance in your manner too and that, although in the current age of the ME generation is nothing new, is somewhat gauche.

Seems aimed at a younger audience -I found the rap annoying but the video overall was filmed well with good sound quailty.

I'm not a big fan of rap music and your Hype Video just comes across as being "dated" when it's being chanted by Ryan, who looks like a leftover from Led Zeppelin. Did you guys earn commission for marketing Long & McQuade ?

I did like the music video, it was catchy. I expect the show will appeal to certain demographic. If hot music is incorporated into each episode and the jokes have some depth it could be worth watching.

I have to say that I liked the song. The whole thing was actually really well made. However, a lot of the fans seemed put off by your lack of modesty. Angering lots of people certainly is a quick way to get some publicity, but some of the comments for this week seem to suggest that you've cost yourself some votes with the direction of this video.

Oh nooooooo you cannot seriously compare yourself to Empire Records. It really is coming off as conceited and kind of boring, the production is good and stuff but it's just another "hey this misfit band of weirdos works at [LOCATION] and has adventures".

I liked the video, and the whole music video aspect which obviously works well with the concept of the show. And while I understand that the whole 'bragging' bit is sarcastic for the character, it still kind of turns the viewer off. Otherwise great effort!

I'm reading a lot of comments that are turned off by the bragging. I thought it was funny and part of the character's voice. It worked for me because you're in an alley and, turns out, he has no place to sleep. There's something funny and sad about a rock star character who works at a music store and struggles to remind people that he has genitals and has sex.

I know you guys have taken flak for the constant large penis jokes. I think it's heroic that you're committed to making them. It's like that scene in Rocky when he keeps getting up.

I know that being so cocky was part of the joke here, but since all the facts that you gloated about are true (multiple TV shows already on the air, at the top of the popularity pile here) it fell SO short. I have watched this video 4 times. I'm definitely probably not your target audience, but you brought something original AGAIN, and it made me chuckle. I like the swagger-ness... I don't see any point in acting all meek at this stage in the game (Boxcar Dan V.). But, the other thing I'd note... where are the other characters? It seems they haven't shown face in a few weeks. I'd like to see more of them.

Good production value, good song, not surprised there are a few people who have trouble with the confidence. Honestly, I'm thinking that having scripts might be the most useful thing ... assuming they are good. Far to many of the other groups seem to have been short on looking past the pilot to think about how the show could actually support a full season, let alone more than that.

Why is it that the more I see of this, the more I dislike it? I truly feel the answer is, this is the only project that I'm not rooting for the team. The blond guy comes off a little too full of himself for me. You've been very successful, we get it. And yes, of course the whole point of this project was to tell the world how good your project is, but how come you're the only ones who managed to make it feel like you were bragging and not pitching?

interesting spin on this weeks mission. I am surprised that I could actually understand everything you were saying good job. The video was a bit annoying though and couldn't tell if you were bragging or joking. Not very likeable.

I really liked the idea of doing a rap to get across, unique and different than most teams have done. Some of it was pretty funny I liked quite a few of the references however, I cannot tell whether all your jokes where you are bragging are out of humour and that is how you guys are in a joking sense or whether you really are that cocky so it leaves me feeling indifferent.

The video was just ok for me, although the whole rap thing was already done by the Campus Law guys for Week 2... so no points for originality. Should have used the time to hype the show more instead of telling us your background story, which was also supposed to be done in week 2. If that's what you were trying to do here i just didn't get it.

Creative... I'll give you that. Last time I needed a massage, which you kindly offered, this time I might need an Advil. Was just a bit much for my liking. I concede with Darcy R. that it was conceited and that that was probably exactly what you were going for. I understand that when you refresh the page that generally you guys have been near the top for popularity/trending, but if you actually want to know where you stand in the group of 55 with your rating of 7.73, you are 7th. Not bad.

I think you guys are really funny but that last project didn't quite do it for me. I think it's a good music video clip but I didn't see the tv show behind it. Good montage but photos and images that we already saw from your project. Continue to innovate and good luck for the rest of the comedy coup.

I have to say that I did not enjoy the "original music", as they say. It took away from what you have done previously, and not sure I want to watch anymore. Sorry guys.

Nice combo of funny and fact to meet the mission and add some humour. I concede it was conceited, but that's kinda the point when you're looking for media coverage. Brag = copy. As a journalist, I don't get all the info I need out of the vid but it's enticing enough to pick up the phone.

good job on the sell sheet and that's about it. The rap was pretty annoying, you came across extremely conceded and sorry but I almost don't want to watch this just for the shear fact of how cocky you were.
