What a stupid thing to write on another team's page. If you want to bash or slam someone fine, but at least talk about their show and give reasons, don't just use the space to plug your/your friend's/your fave project.

I like the concept of using a Sasquatch (funny, original and CANADIAN). The sound quality isn't great, the mask looks a bit cheap and hurts the sound even more with someone having to talk through it (with the mouth not moving). The accent seems a bit put on. But this deserves a better rating than it is getting for sure because most of the problems I see with it relate to the (lack of) budget and I am trying to rate the idea. I see more comedy potential here than in a lot of the ideas that did get picked to move on.

Thanks, Anisa. Yes, we hope that that the concept and good jokes is enough to offset the lack of resources we have to do this. We'll keep plugging away and hope for the best. Kind regards, David

I will not be voting for these guys project because I think How To Do Everything Gooder is the best show CBC could choose to air!

Haha amazing stuff guys. I like all the characters, perfectly cast if you ask me. I'm looking forward to seeing more of this project for sure, very unique to all the other projects. The posters are amazing too, really gives us a good glimpse of what to expect!

Thanks for the nice words. Although we think real actors for the supporting cast would bring this show up about a thousand levels. Glad you think it's unique... that's what we're going for... probably the only way we might get noticed.

Thanks, thrilled that you like it! Not sure about top 15 though since we didn't have enough friends to get into the top 110. We're just hanging in there just in case everyone gets ebola and we're the only ones left at the end...

Cool video, what sold me was the title. Lots of funny jokes, and green screen is always hysterical. Good luck in the rest of the competition.

Not really interested in this. I need to see more of the concept. Good luck. Production is seriously lacking. Web series..

Well, if you're not interested in it, why not just go watch something else instead of bringing us down with your negative comments. Yes, we know that we are writers and comics, not filmmakers... we have a camera and a green screen and we're doing the best we can with zero resources and about 2 hours of free time each week.

Yeah, production lacks. It's hard rot take lofty ideas and make the materialize into reality but good luck with the idea. Could make for a great web series if the situations are good!

Sasquatchulookinat, you so crazy, and that's why I love you. I love this kind of raw humour that just goes for it. I feel like if you guys had a good production budget and team, I think you could make a pretty amazing show. It's so perfect that he's a stand-up comedian. I hope I get to see more.

Yeah, that would be awesome, that's why we're in it, hoping to find someone with resources that wants to produce a crazy idea!

I'm glad this has opened up the conversation about varying uneven playing fields. It's awesome that some teams have been developing their concepts for a while, have existing fan bases and web series, oodles of pre-shot footage to work with every week and are expanding through this venue. They have more resources and higher production values, but I want to acknowledge teams who are really taking this thing on from scratch, and are creators at heart. (I'm on one of those teams!) We're selling a concept ripe for development, so imagine what teams like this one could do with an actual budget! Good luck Gerry the Sasquatch, from a fellow not-110 who's stayed in the game!

There's a lot of good stuff here, although sometimes I can't quite hear what the Walking Carpet is trying to say.

Keep going, though, this looks like fun!!!!!

I like the Sasquatch but I found this video difficult to understand and had to look at your other material to see what the idea behind the Sasquatch was. He's cute though, I lol'd when he rawr'ed in different language

I thought your jokes were really funny. Your choice of filming behind the Sasquatch was really good. I think the sound of your voice in that bar was not the best. And i did not understand what you said in the end. Good luck to you!

Nothing classier than coming on to a non-top 110 project and shitting on it for being unoriginal, when your own show is an unintelligible mish mash of bizarre-for-bizarre's sake and borrowed bullshit. While you're at it ignore Brian T. as well, he copy and pastes that same comment all over the place. Good luck going forward. - Randy Justice

How was I shitting on it? I was simply asking a valid question. The creator responded thoughtfully and explained his project well. Props to him.

While some lines are funny, I think the concept would fade very quickly so I don’t think I would watch this week after week.

How is this idea different from Mel Silverback, the gorilla stand-up comedian? You're going to have to be WAY funnier than that guy in order to make it, and if you do make it to the top, the creator of that character might not be too pleased with his original concept getting hijacked.

For what it's worth, we developed this idea never having heard of this Max Silverback character. Not that it matters... there are no original ideas in the world, just original execution... hopefully we've brought something fresh to the table.

From Dan Licoppe's website: 'Dan created ... the character Mel Silverback , a tuxedo clad, old-time Catskills mountain gorilla stand up comic with an edge, who tells it like it is.'
Our character Gerry is much different in style and tone (just because he's furry doesn't mean he is the same). First, he's a bigfoot, not a gorilla (yes, that matters). He is also not at all an old-time comic (Gerry won't wear tuxedo or dance around on stage), nor does he 'tell it like it is'.
Our sasquatch character has a full back story that will reveal his curious, genial and engaging qualities.
Thank you for your constructive comment.
