Week #1 Show Teaser Just Passing Through

Terry and Parnell Gallant, two rough-and-tumble Maritimers on their way to Alberta to get loaded rich, are forced to look up their dweeby "cousint" Owen after their shitbox car breaks down outside of Toronto.

Synopsis

Moonshine, the Maritime Mafia, strippers and hot yoga for dogs. You'll find them all--and a whole lot friggin' more--in the East Coast comedy series Just Passing Through. The hit webseries blends the spirit of old-school sitcoms like Three's Company with the edge of today's hits like The Trailer Park Boys. Terry and Parnell Gallant, rough-and-tumble "cousints" from Prince Edward Island, are heading to the Alberta oil patch to get loaded rich. When the shitbox car Grammie gave them breaks down in Toronto, they show up unannounced on their uptight cousin Owen's doorstep and swear they're "just passing through". But the family reunion Owen never asked for is the family reunion that never ends.

A sharp witty, well observed comedy with many British elements among the humour though a thoroughbred Canadian which explores the changes people who move from small towns to large cities go through and I think in this case how Terry and Parnel changed a little part of the big city too. If you're easily offended don't watch but for everyone else a must see, this is a little Canadian gem!

What a talented cast! Despite all the comparisons to Trailer Park Boys, Bob & Doug McKenzie, etc., these guys have really distinguished themselves. And if you are offended by raunchy humor, then please watch something else! And hey, if it bothers you that PEI locals are portrayed as "stunned arseholes" then just remember there are plenty of those all around the world, so don't take it personally. :-)

If I could rate it 1,000, I would. Every Maritimer can relate to this hilarious 'fish out of water' story. It's a show you'll want to watch over and over to catch all the jokes you missed the first time.

Trailer Park Boy? Trailer Park Boys. I wish the east coast could offer a different story than this. Gander, NL 4 Life!

Looks like there's a lot of material here. Funny potential if they don't go too much in the nudity-vulgary side of funny, I'd like to see more of their concept.

This show is hilarious! It captures pretty near every essence of living on/near Pogey Beach as much as some of the real characters i share this island with.. The characters in this show define "Bravery" I mean leaving this gem of a place to go OUT West (and not UP west) and stopping in Toronto...boy that takes guts, Stompin Tom would be proud of em. Well done !! Even funnier than the Trailer Park Boys series. Love it

Excellent Prince Edward Island comedy poking fun at the Island way of life and the exodus of its people to the west to make a decent living wage.
