This is the reason Comedy Coup was created. To give people like Graham a chance to shine. This was a great example of Show, don't Tell. They showed us exactly what makes their show different...their quirky style. I would tune in and watch this show. Well done everyone!

Not sure I get this concept. If the goal this week was to show how you're different I suppose you succeeded. While a few of the animal references made me chuckle, I hope there's a lot more to it.

While I enjoyed the funny little jokes about all the animals and the speediness of the scene changes I think Its a tricky thing to add in all the animals and make it look not too phony. It didn't really grab my attention too much. Good for trying! It looked like you had a lot of fun puttin it together!

Is there a theme song yet? When you guys advance, I hope there a weekly mission for what the shows theme song will be. Every week you guys put a lot of heart into what you're doing, and it's paying off. One of the most creative teams in the Coup.

I have no idea what the show is all about, but it made me laugh! I mean, a jellyfish cook-off?? Your quirky sense of humor will carry you far. People see beauty or even danger in nature, yet you see the potential for laughs, so good luck.

While I see what you were attempting to do here, I still think you should have (like most of the shows this week) gave a proper answer just with funny elements included, so we would be able to get a fuller idea of the show.

HOW DID YOU MISS THE JOKE "ZE-BRAS" instead of "zebra in a bra." I mean come on. That was staring you right in the face. It was on the tip of your tongue. It was bursting at the seems. If you're not laughing, we're not either. Keep killin' it though. My favorite idea of comedy coup.

Animal dress - up Great idea.
It really needs animal wrestling for domination of the dinner table, whether its over a lamb chop(two coyotes) or three ducks over pond scum.. out in the wilderness doesn't really need a Man
Or does it ? He could be the referee.
    Lots of potential.

Wildernessman as a concept or title seems to be a bit of an oxymoron in terms of I get that your different in your strength to generate spliced images on a computer but still pictures of animals in a zoo is not real wilderness. I think the rangers are less talented but would have more of bases for sitcom. Good job on the computer graphics though.

Uuuuuhhhhh... What!?! LoL. I thought, that previews, and commercials, were supposed to tell you, what the show's about. Or at least give you an idea, of what it's gonna be about! I didn't get that. From watching this thing. You named an animal. Then you named a body part. What's with that? I'm sorry, that I don't get it. I'm just a die hard, critic.

Wow! Im really impressed by the puppetry and production for this video, it looks really great, the guys behind this video clearly have quite a bit of talent involved lol. How much of the show will be live action and how much will be puppets? Or are you guys planning to go full puppet on this thing? I do like the absurdist angle too (king of the forest is a squirrel lol!!). this is something id definitely back to get on TV there aren’t enough just purely zany comedies out there, we need more over the top, dum-as-rocks, antics lol.
    Good luck you guys!!!

Both last two week and this week, I have enjoyed what this project has released. The acting chops are there, the concept is interesting and the videos are very good quality, but most importantly surprising, quirky and they make me lol....yeah I just said that. My only criticism is story/plot. What is the story line? Or journey? that is going to give it legs for an entire series? But then I also think, we're only brushing the surface with missions....overall excited to see more!!! Good luck guys!

Love Graham Clarke...this needs to be on tv.

Some commenters are concerned how much longevity this would have as an ongoing show...but as far as I can tell from the rules this is for a half-hour comedy special not an ongoing series...am I wrong?

    I will watch either way.

As participants, we are asked to create an outline of how our show would look over six episodes to begin and where we could go from there.

At first I thought the same thing. ONE half hour comedy special...

This is ridiculous in all the best ways. "If Twin Peaks was funny", is prob the best way to describe this lol. Love the slow motion at the beginning, and the character is great. However, scary clown fish are no laughing matter...I was killed by one once. Good luck with the comp!

Very interesting concept, the ridiculousness is amusing! More things needs to be this out of this world and wacky! Wilderness man was perfectly cast, the beard is amazing. The approach to this differentiator video was like no other that I have seen so far! Way to keep it different and entertaining. I'm very interested in seeing where this show would go! The perfect blend of epic, and kooky! I enjoyed the opening, with the red writing and deep movie guy voice” that leads into the peppy voice, and upbeat music in the background. All of the reasons are so ridiculous – in a good way. Best of luck

I realize this might be an unrealistic request, but could you possibly produce an entire action-packed episode based on the "budgie revenge" concept? Here's a possible catchphrase for the budgie:

"When it comes to compromise, I'm one bird who won't... BUDGE-e."

(Budgie puts on sunglasses while something dramatic like a space station or vending machine explodes in slow motion behind him.)

Your show looks very different and you seem like the best group to be able to capitalize on that for this weeks video, but I found it pretty boring. I didn't feel like the things being listed off were connected to the premise in anyway aside from having to do with nature. Maybe you guys will prove me wrong with the next video. Here's hoping.

Just watching this third week video – I have no idea what the show is about, but damnit if I’m not confused and interested.
    Hippo nipples and secret dodos...
This video was fast-paced enough that I didn’t just turn it off in 14 seconds like I seem to be doing with a lot of other videos tonight.
This video was just weird enough that I had to go look up the other week’s videos.
This video was weird enough that I’m not sure it will appeal to other folks outside my young millennial we-love-weird-sketches (cough, cough, Picnicface) cohort.
The bottom line however remains.... I would watch this weird weird thing.

I am not sure if this is telling me how you are different or if this is just a list of animal things. Some of the animals are definitely from “around here” and could be found in the forest – but some seemed to be added just for the sake of the list. I feel like a had a better idea of what made Wilderness Man different from your last video. That being said, I am still interested in where you are going. When you are working in a space that is not real, you can create really real things – and ever since Puppets Who Kill ended, I am need something new to fill the void of human-puppet interaction.

I think you have a powerful protagonist and someone's showing some great VFX skills. Much like everyone else on here, I think you need to really show us what the show is about. Unless you're show isn't really about anything and just exposes us to different odd and funny things, then that works too!

    Well done fellas!

There have been a few comments (across the 3 videos) about not understanding how the clips would translate into a show. I get the notion but, from what I see, there have been 3 videos that have looked fantastic, made me legitimately laugh out loud, and have been original. That I can't map out the beats of a 30 minute show seems like a good thing.

Anyway, #17 is my favourite and I think Emperor Penguins would make a great name for a minor league baseball team.

Hey Ben, totally valid comment. We're only given a minute for each video so there's not a lot of time to explain backstory or character development. They're more teasers than anything. Also, being funny is more important right now than story structure. Hope that helps!

Really terrific production values once again on your video, kudos for that. If you guys get an option agreement, you probably don't have to look far for someone to do your effects! In terms of a constructive critique, I appreciated the through-line on your brand of humor (mountain man animal funniness), but if someone were to ask me what the first episode "Wilderness Man" would be like, I'd have no idea. It feels you've got a very firm grasp on the tone of the humor in your show, but you've yet to share the structure of the show with us. So I don't know if we as an audience are going to see the Wilderness Man's whale nipple hallucinations, or if you're just inferring that duck graduations are something he would... discuss? Again, top notch production values and I'm definitely sold on the tone of the humor, I think I'd just like to know what the show actually is by now. Congrats on the polished work!

Dude, from your popularity on here, you seem to have a good audience. It makes me wonder why you would then use this opportunity in A) less time than allotted, and B) with (admittedly some silly laughs) random pictures? I really liked the first teaser, and was willing to let the team video slide. But yeah. I wanted more Graham and this didn't deliver. I guess it's a great way to make people look you up on Google. Like I said. I think you're funny as hell in the first one and I like the premise (although I do thnk you could have gone four seasons as the mystical God of the woods. and in the finale, you reveal that its been trash this whole time.) Wishing for more. Hope to be on the other side of 55 with you guys!
