We See Thee Rise is a comical post-Zombie Apocalypse mockumentary that follows the day-to-day lives of several dim-witted survivors of a Zombie apocalypse, who travel cross-Canada, from Vancouver, BC to “safe-haven” St. John’s, Newfoundland. A true north road trip, every episode highlights the groups misadventures in different cities as they trek east, including Calgary, Winnipeg, Hamilton and Toronto (“Centre of the Zombie universe”).

We See Thee Rise will be a character-based comedy and the survivors will respectfully be portraying a microcosm of modern day Canada, from Vancouver Stoners to Quebecois separatists to Albertan Cowboys and with one lost American just to spice things up.

Do we really need another Zombie show? Let along a Canadian one? This had too much talking about what you want to do and not showing enough of you actually doing it.

We have yet to see a comedic zombie show on Television though film has proven it a hilarious genre. The truly Canadian spin could make this the perfect fit for CBC comedy.

The video didn't show me the comedy in the concept. Zombies aren't my thing but it could be funny. Unfortunately, it wasn't shown here.
