Synopsis

Tate Felton, born and raised in Toronto, has aspirations of becoming the next Peter Mansbridge. Having been recently fired from an internship with a major news organisation, he decides to apply for a position with an online news outlet in Northern Ontario. He has high hopes of taking the local news scene by storm, but quickly learns that life is a little different up in the North.

My name is Adam McKay. I am a filmmaker and photographer living in Timmins, Ontario. I completed my first feature film The Long Road Home, in 2011 and have since established a small media production company in Northern Ontario.

I've always been a film and TV fanatic. My earliest memories of 'true' comedy were watching VHS tapes of SCTV episodes my family had recorded. I attended Algonquin College in Ottawa for Television Broadcasting and have worked on film sets and as a camera operator for live events such as Ottawa Bluesfest and Jazzfest. Ultimately, my dream is to create dynamic comedy content

I grew up in South Porcupine and after high school attended the University of Waterloo, earning a degree in History. Shortly after, I traveled and lived abroad before returning home and helping create The Long Road Home, the first feature film for writer/director Adam McKay.

Absolutely amazing piece, McKay has such vision, Aldred has amazing talents, and Autio really just steals the show. Like a mammoth thunder of spiritual awakening this show has shaken my core beliefs in funny, and chuckles down to the core and stuff.
