Week #1 Show Teaser The Undrawn

The Undrawn try to make a name for themselves and achieve the ultimate success in the crimefighting trade - getting drawn in a comic book and maybe even nabbing a movie franchise! Too bad they are their own worst enemies...

Synopsis

The Undrawn centres on the everyday grind of six heroically unheroic superheroes trying to work their way up the ladder at Supercorp. They are led by a passionate but dim boss who hands out “leads” from the dregs of the intel files to help his crew climb to the top of the crimefighting heap and finally get drawn in a comic book! Whether on the streets chasing down the next undrawn villain or in the office fighting each other, the only thing super about these heroes are their issues. It's white collar workplace comedy meets blue collar crimefighting ineptitude.

The comedic potential in useless super powers could be immense. The Frantics flirted with the idea in such characters as the perennial Mr. Canoe Head, and the one-off Shrew Boy, both classics!

It looks like a lot of fun, but I could do with less raunchiness. But I do like how it reminds me of Kickass, or No More Heroes.

Amazing! The Butler Brothers' signature brand of twisted humour is at it's best here. If you have seen their other works you know just how funny they can be. And if you haven't this is the perfect place to start.

Ahhhhh! I can't wait to see the next Butler Brother project!! Been a super fan of these indie masterminds for a decade, since their ABC trilogy! Each year I'm thrilled to see what they come up with and they never disappoint. These badass bros somehow manage to take the humor, heart, characters, and stories to new heights and I can't wait to sink my teeth into this one!!
