This is really great- playful. Love that it seems to both be mocking and honouring Saskatoon. Go prairies go!

Jules Crashes the Party

Jules Crashes the Party

Jules Mercier brings our opening #merceresquerant about format to a crashing halt. #Cymbalism!

Jules Rides Again

Jules Rides Again

Here's Jules again, pitching that very same cymbal crash as the riotous end to a sketch! So meta! So many layers! Astounding!

#winniewinniewinnie

#winniewinniewinnie

Danielle (as Kristelle), Brent (as Brent), Jules (as Jules) and Dakota (as Mary-Ellen), or perhaps as themselves (#meta! #somanylayers!) call Brad's cat #Milo using the "magic fingers/"#winniewinniewinnie" technique. (True fans will notice this is the first #TheTroupe video not to feature #Milo. #BringBackMilo!)

The Differentiator!

The Differentiator!

Brent (as Brent/a homage to Bruce McCulloch's "Eradicator" character from Kids in the Hall) jumps out from behind a fence near SNTC/Studio 914 in the heart of Saskatoon's "sweet old fence" district, and shows off his sweet gams, one of the Troupe's many unmentioned/undermentioned differentiators.

"I Think My Mighty Scream Was a Bit Off"

Brent as the Differentiator slinks back behind the fence, awaiting a second take. (Other future improvements: a balaclava rather than an actual executioner's mask. It did come with a plastic axe blade, though.)

I love the punny-ness as well as your familiarity with each other. You have a natural comfort in front of the camera. Good Luck!

It was okay, I'm not sure about the character development through the series. Also, I think production needs some improvement. Some parts are a bit disturbing so not sure what demographic it's aimed towards.

I have a hard time believing that this show has a lot of potential depth. It's good on the surface but I can't help but feel like there is still a lack of long term plan for how this show and is characters can evolve.

you guys look natural in front of the camera but the week 3 video is still not telling me what this show will really be about. Keep working.

It is wonderful to see such amazing talent coming from Saskatchewan! There are not many submissions in this competition from Saskatchewan. This one is very well done! Show the world what the prairies can do. :)

Looks like you guys have a lot of fun in the making of your videos. I find that great as it doesn't seem so fake to the audience and they can get in on the jokes too. I'm still a bit unclear about your concept, is it just a bunch of sketches? I'm not too certain about the potential it has for a series, but it's great you guys are having fun doing it. Good luck guys!

    Thanks Christina!
Yes, the series centers around a sketch comedy group, and the trials and tribulations they face as individuals and as a collective. So sketches are a part of our concept, not the full idea. =)
    Again, thanks!

Thanks! Yes, we're hoping to convey more and more of our meta-ness throughout the missions. They aren't kidding when they call them "challenges"! Thank you for your input! Do you have a show submission, or a show you are related to? Thanks!
