Synopsis

The Crimson Wave follows the menstrual cycles of best friends, roommates, feminists, and chipotle mayonnaise enthusiasts Jess and Natalie as they explore their bods, own their sexuality, get tampons stuck inside them, and gather stories for their period themed podcast. Although neurotic Jess and vivacious Natalie are opposites, and argue incessantly, they love each other with their whole uteruses. Their mission is to eliminate the shame associated with menstruation while telling jokes about leaking through white jeans. Each episode will feature Jess and/or Natalie in the bleeds and reveal the messy situations they get into. Their life motto: go with the flow and wear double underwear.

I have been waiting for this...women deal with bloody hell regularly and it is about time we talk honestly and openly about it. It is a fact of life men and you sure as hell should at least try to understand it. And FYI: Diva cup is the best invention for women after the IUD...finally something comfortable that doesn't cause leakages and doesn't feel like a diaper.

I don't know anything about being female. So I won't be a jerk and try to personalize this with gender division. But I think a comedy show lead by ladies is exactly what Canada is lacking in the marketplace. I hope you go very far. I guess I am a jerk.
