Week #3 The Differentiator Hit with a Rock

#BeDifferent The cast and crew of “Hit with a Rock” tries to bring a new and unique twist on humour. Keeping rooted with our comedy while trying to keep connected with a mainstream audience, we are a new form of funny! Edgy and relevant mixed with a little strange and served uncomfortably hot, this sketch show will bring you on a ride.

Hey Christina, thanks for your comment, and no, many of the clips we have used in this recent video were from sketches we have already produced in the past, as well as our some of our latest works. Most of the references you've made are from sketches we've shot last year and already posted on our YouTube channel several months ago..... (http://www.youtube.com/channel/UCjbxZhRbVJLnniLPAqFyqsw)

Though the feedback is great, and we will do what we can to add extra information in future content to help support our concept.

It was okay, I'm not sure about the character development through the series. Also, I think production needs some improvement. Some parts are a bit disturbing so not sure what demographic it's aimed towards.

it appears to me that you are using a scatter shot approach, a montage of different skits(?) that were put together for this week. There is a lot humour in there waiting to burst out, as the individuals involved appear to have talent.

Hit With A Rock is a great project name to begin with. It looks like you'll definitely be going for random humour, which not everyone will get. But for those that do, they are likely to love it. There is some potential here for an entertaining project! Keep it up. Best of luck. Cheers.

The clips gave a sense of the individuals who make up Hit With a Rock and their unique quirkiness. Some real potential for funny mixed with randomness, I look forward to seeing the idea grow in the future weeks.

I saw a lot of different skill set and diversity here in this video, funny, edgy but not cheap humour; i think you guys should win the competition and bring back the trend of sketch comedy. tough competitors out there though, so best of luck

I really enjoyed the videos you guys put out; though as a sketch comedy, it is really hard to tell where you are going without seeing more videos. best luck in the competition

I'm not sure if you guys were doing this on purpose or not, but it really felt like you were taking ideas from other groups and putting it into this weeks video. Like the lobster sketch from Wharf Rats, the dirty hand smear in Dookie Squad, the large white man dressed up in woman's clothes like in Nanny Walbourne, and even the weird usage of condiments like in Chokochup (which isn't even in the competition anymore). It would have been great if you talked/showed more of yourselves and explained why you guys are unique, it might help to make your concept more clear as well. Good luck with the competition though!

I have watched several their videos on youtube, I'm pretty sure that condiments idea is quite original and funny. though i didn't see that Chokochup, so i can't really judge if they are the same. i agree with you, it is really hard to see their concept, but i guess it is hard to explain a sketch comedy show's overall concept in a 90 sec clip
