I like your idea and the concept is pretty creative. However, my one concern is that what we see here will be significantly altered if it were to make a prime time TV slot and then I don't know how funny it would be without this type of humour.

I love this. It's updating the dinosaured age faux-news at the CBC. Seriously, does anyone under 50 find The Hour Has 22 Minutes or Rick Mercer funny? Both shows had their time and place, but it's time to make something for the next generation.

If CBC had a edgy spin off network like Fox has FX or FXX or whatever, then yeah, maybe I could see this being picked up but I think a certain conservative prime minister who couldn't handle Holy Fuck, would surely flip his shit if he saw that CBC was supporting anything like this, hahah

I like the name its pretty fun to say “dope ass world” are you guys at all worried about anyone being offended by the some of the content? (Obviously not enough to keep you guys out of the top 50 lol), then again this is Canada and people are less readily offended here than most other places. Either way I hope you guys make into the top 15 you definitely deserve it. Good Luck!!

"This is That" makes it to TV, so DAW ain't original. Still, love that radio show. This could be good, too, Crude is okay, but too often the easy way to a laugh. Nudity, jerking off, sure, but edgy don't always gotta be dirty. More smart - less smut.

Slick looking production that made me laugh out loud and gape with shock and/or awe. Great energy and characterizations. Held my attention from start to finish and left me wanting more. Profanity was creatively worded. Gayrilla segment was my fave and was relieved when he was "released" at the hospital. Would be a worthy addition to the noble tradition of satirical news broadcasts. Took edgy to the rim and peeked over and winked. Don't know if C.B.C. would allow a clip of people getting stoned off shit but they should. Looking forward to more but 'til then I'll watch this again. Great, great work and you certainly differentiated yourselves from the meeker in the pack.

Nice production value guys, How do you guys make churn em out like that? Did you actually find and sell a pair of authentic Gay-rillas for funding?

Very creative and good quality. I did find the content to perhaps push too far when the prize is for a prime time slot. it is evident a lot of effort went into the making, but again, content might be better suited for later viewing. Good luck

I did enjoy the creativity that was in your second video, but the humour eludes me in your first and third videos. Maybe it's just me, but I'm not sure if some of this material is fit for prime time TV. Good luck with the competition, you guys should be proud at being picked as a favourite!

First, let me stress how impressed I am with your videos. Each production makes an immediate impression. It looks effortless and that takes work. This feels professional from top to bottom. The casting is spot on. The creativity to make it look like you are bringing us around the world is working. It’s filmmaking magic. The vision is clear, the pace is tight. You’re in top form.

I've got some more thoughts I have decided to direct message you about.

This looks awesome. Hope you guys make it through to the end. Good job at letting us know where you are going with this show. Not many people did that this week.

Let me be the one to say that you guys rock and have definitely come up with an amazing premise that some of the more crazy and wild people of our generation are totally on board with. Great premises, awesome jokes! See you guys in the next round for sure.

I’m on the fence. I think some of it is hilarious and out there and sometimes it goes a bit too far. I love the diversity of the show (an that you’re in Montreal!) but I don’t know if it might be a bit too brazen for prime time? But that might just be me, I am easily embarrassed and kept checking behind me to see that no one was walking by my desk while watching this video. I really shouldn’t watch comedy coup at work…

You guys def have the skill set to produce a show, however, I'm not a big fan of the tone; Maybe it is just me, too old for prime time show

Humor seems super low-brow for the most part (not that there's anything wrong with low-brow humor!). The production quality is pretty impressive if you shot this within the past week or so though. The one joke that's stuck with me throughout this whole competition was the sweatshop that was run by a kid; the more unexpected humor like that you can come up with, the stronger I think your show will be. But it's cool that you're not afraid to branch out into other countries that the average Canadian might otherwise be unfamiliar with. I also think integrating real people on the street could be really interesting (given that you're a "news" show), though the whole "pranking" dangerous people in alleys and almost getting beaten up has been done a million times on YouTube already. Stick to your ingenuity and I can see Dope Ass World going far in this competition. Good luck guys!

Jesus I'm so glad you didn't get stabbed in the throat by those drug dealers. I rewatched that part 3 times to see how close to a beating you almost came. But yes, hilarious stuff. A nice mix of Chive and Tom Green.

I just don't find it funny. It seems like not the best prank humour mixed with a combination of Tosh.0 and like a dumb version of the onion or something? I'm just not sure I get... sorry!!
