Synopsis

Brace yourself, reality television. "Swatch out!" Dan and Jimmy, a gay couple in St. John's, Newfoundland, are set to become Canada's NEXT TOP Design Show Hosts. The new recruits to the f-squared (Find It and Flip It) movement are taking the country by storm. They may not be Mike Holmes, but they sure think they're Steven and Chris, or even better… They've been setting twitter alight with the help of Doris, their biggest fan, a salty firecracker from the gas station, who happens to be a social media whiz. You should see her Instagram, b'ys! Charming the pants off of Canadians, having taken Newfoundland by storm, they're edging closer to the finals... and Toronto's bright city lights!

Oh, it looks funny, the actors are charming and great, there's characters and conflict and all that good stuff; the cinematography and sound are amazing, too. The text interstitials, though, b'ys . . . design 'em better. I'm following you, though. I'm really looking forward to what you come up with next.

I like the idea of a scripted take of a reality show - the premise of the show is that the titular "B'ys" and their female friend are competing to win a design competition? I like the set-up; it's pretty cut-and-dry and the characters are well defined. Weird that I found it in the Ontario section?
