Week #1 Show Teaser Dépflies

A quick glimpse of the DÉPFLIES in their natural habitat, waxing poetic and dreaming while dwelling in the "Dép". When the regulars show up, we see the wild madness that permeates the banal nature of the job, and the spirit of “anything can happen”.

I really like the concept and you have my votes. Just watching the videos now and brings back memories of growing up in Montreal and visiting the corner Depanneur on a regular basis. Great way to integrate French and English in this show!

Engageant....mais...saisissant? Et..c'est Moncton aussi - ou Nouvelle-Ecosse, or anywhere there's francophone and anglophone cultures in Canada! Good work - there's a solid concept here - but project (in looking at a couple of the items from DepFLIES) is still in the rough draft stage, in terms of dialogue and character development.

Nice video guys.. I think this is the only project I've seen that come at it from the bilingual angle? Correct me if I'm wrong. Anyway I really like the concept and you guys have put together some great videos. All the best making it into the top 15!

I'm not from Montreal but visit often and I too like the bilingual presentation; it's very much part of the culture there and happens seamlessly without even giving it any thought. I like the natural way it's presented.

I like this - however I don't get a sitcom feel here, it's actually something much more interesting and dramatic. As a stand alone, I think this would be a very interesting series. Not sure how it will fair with the more laugh-out-loud projects, but your project is very unique. I'd suggest the CBC pick this up regardless.

I like the concept, reminds me of K.S.;s Clerks with a bilingual twist which is very cool. I can see where it opens the idea of different type of people going to the Dep and how the clerk interact with them, love that aspect and can see that in the future. Very interesting.

Everyone hung out here when we were young -- especially in the summer sitting on the curb smoking cigs, adding the liquor we lifted from our parents cabinet into our Mr. Slushies... good times.

Got the chance to see Episode 8 of Depflies last week. This group of pro performers are at the peak of their game. The material was spot on and the performances were top notch. I'm willing to give my vote to a group of committed artists who have already produced 16 hours worth of hilarious material any day!

As a side note: I never thought a bilingual show could be so seamless for both anglo and francophone audiences alike but both me and my super hot Quebecoise tinder date were suitably impressed! Great work guys ;)
