Synopsis

Comic Relief is a mockumentary series that puts an average comic book store and regular customers in the spotlight. Watch as they gear up for Comic-Con, the store's most profitable event of the year.

Assistant Manager Gillian Pelletier loves geek culture, anime in particular. She struggles to maintain a good client base and hold on to her nerves while keeping her coworkers out of trouble.

Our Comic Book Expert, Wade Wibberly, does a lot more slacking than work but is an encyclopedia of geeky knowledge. Is that enough to let him keep his job? Surprisingly, yes.

With regulars like a movie nut with nowhere to go and a LARPer who never leaves, you can be sure they'll be laughs!

Unfortunately I didn't find this project very funny. Hope that's not an indication for what's to come.

Some good laughs and a lot of potential. This is a subject matter with a thousand possibilities, and it's a group who are not afraid to laugh at themselves.

Not only hilarious but representative of the community. I guffawed when seeing the customer pull one floppy out of a stack of subscriptions. Definitely one of my bad habits.

Way better than 6 seasons of the Big Bang Theory.
