Synopsis

BUNKABABZ is the culmination of a chorus of voices rising from the metropolises of contemporary Canada. It is the satirical, relatable and diverse voice of a mosaic of ethnicities that create a language that is comedically unique. Our ensemble of characters is comprised of professionals from all walks of life immersed in the heart of the city, who live and breathe for the art of comedy. We sketch our satire on a global scale and encompass all realms of wit and whimsy; blending pop and immigrant culture with Torontonian and North American references.

Samer Shahid Khan

Writer, Director

Samer Shahid Khan is a renaissance artist and a creative enigma. Over the course of his lifetime he has been actively been involved in the pursuits of literature, music, art and is a visionary thinker. He has traversed the lands of South East Asia and the Middle East, Europe and North America, having worked the media and music industry in various capacities.

Fatima Yamin

Showrunner, Writer

An unconscionable writer, Fatima started her career as a journalist in Pakistan. She then spent a decade cruising the streets of NYC, where she picked up a thing or two about the comedy that is life. Fatima has a Masters in Communication and Information Studies from Rutgers University. She has worked in film, TV and theater and has over 15 years of corporate experience.

Muzna Khan

Marketing / Social, Talent

Having grown up under the scrutiny and discerning eye of immigrant parents that struggled to maintain some semblance of culture in a society that threatened to strip them of all they held dear, Muzna has decided to turn the lens the other way around, upside down and inside out. It's time to share a laugh.....AT her or WITH her, you decide!

it appeals to all kind - the food and comedy brings it down to two main level playing fields. One we all are hungry and second we all want to be happy !!!
