Synopsis

It's dawn on the set of "Blackpool", a supernatural drama shot in Vancouver, the wildlife begins to stir. A Production Assistant begins to set up cones. The grips stumble from their trucks like gorillas in the mist. Claire emerges, victorious, from the AD trailer with 17 Balloons and a replica of the Titanic.

Each episode focuses on the set up and shooting of a scene (rigging an exploding pineapple, trying to get a cougar to yawn on cue, or managing 30 photo double) and the personalities who make it happen. Claire, the AD, is a classic Type A personality who often finds herself in conflict with slacker Nathan, who’s really just here for the food.

Showrunner, Director

An awesome possum who loves film, television, and making people laugh. Brie "like the cheese" can frequently be found preforming with West Coast Geeks Versus Nerds. Her biggest comedic influence? Her father's rewrites of Shakespearean Tragedies as Musical Comedies. She currently resides North Vancouver with her husband and a royal typewriter.

Tyler James Nicol

Talent, Writer

Tyler James Nicol is a writer/stage performer/actor/large man with a beard. He has been performing on stage around Vancouver for the past half a decade (including on the Vogue theater stage), and has been a featured voice talent in film and television. He is also a founding member of the online sketch troop "Megasteakman" which boasts nearly 20 million views.

Bethany McNab

Talent, Union Liaison

A Saskatchewanite turned Albertan living in the big city of Vancouver. Bethany's adventurous and energetic nature gives her a lot of versatility on all her projects. As Claire the almost put together, ambitious and all around positive person. As a commander in a zombie ridden world, a battleaxe wielding protector or being the worst date imaginable.

The acting was there but the teaser just didn't do it for me, i needed to laugh, the funny wasn't there
